Gifted Savings Application For 2026-2027

Apply to Be A Gifted Savings Partner School or District!

At Gifted Savings, we believe that the combination of real investments and essential knowledge creates the spark that helps young people build their financial future.

It empowers them to imagine possibilities that might not otherwise be on their radar — and to turn those possibilities into plans. We believe that every young person deserves this opportunity.

Gifted Savings welcomes schools, districts, and their surrounding communities across the country to apply to be a partner school or district for the 2026-2027 school year.

In each participating school or district, every high school senior (defined as 12th grade or 4th year student) receives:

  • A real $1,000 diversified investment portfolio, funded by donors through Gifted Savings.
  • A year of hands-on, bite-sized financial lessons, delivered through the Gifted Savings app to build lifelong confidence and real investing experience.
  • The opportunity to plan, reflect, and claim ownership over their financial future.

We partner with schools and districts that see this not just as a financial education program, but as a spark for long-term opportunity and shared prosperity.

This is your community’s chance to join a growing national movement — one that starts with generosity, builds confidence, and creates lifelong investors.

Gifted Savings Partnership Timeline & Process

Phase 1 – Application & Rolling Review (Year-Round) Applications are accepted on a rolling, year-round basis. Schools and districts are encouraged to submit materials as soon as they are ready, including lining up community partners to provide letters of support and completing all required questions.

Gifted Savings reviews applications on a rolling basis for eligibility, leadership readiness, and long-term sustainability.

Applications must be submitted by March 1 to be considered for implementation in the upcoming academic year. Applications received after this date will be considered for participation in a subsequent academic year.

Phase 2 – Finalist Interviews (March–April)  Finalist interviews take place in March and must be completed by April to ensure sufficient time for partnership planning and onboarding ahead of a fall program start.

Phase 3 – Selection & Notification (April)  Selected partners for the upcoming academic year will be notified in April. Partnership agreements are finalized and school- or district-level staff champions are identified.

Phase 4 – Planning & Onboarding (April–May)  Districts onboard with Gifted Savings. Community partners and foundations prepare local launch plans to ensure program readiness for the upcoming school year.

Phase 5 – Launch (August–September)  Program begins shortly after the new school year starts. Seniors receive $1,000 portfolios, access to the app, and begin the Gifted Savings learning experience.

Phase 6 – Sustainability (Years 2–5)  Local partners lead fundraising and program sustainability, with ongoing guidance and evaluation from Gifted Savings. Together, we collect aggregate, non-identifiable data and share summary impact reports to support fundraising and continuous improvement.

We use Submittable to accept and review our submissions.
